The sun bathed the room in a warming light and made it very comfortable for Edge and Rex. Both were still a bit shaken by the fact the half dragon in front of them, claimed to have met them before. Though he shared some similarities to another well known half dragon, who was walking around in other parts of the towers at the moment. The amused look on his face didn't make it easier to think about a previously encounter and was in fact quite distracting.

“Well. This won't bring us any further, will it?” The high councilor asked, breaking the silence between the two parties, “Go ahead ask what you want to know and I'll answer as good as I can.”

“Where or when did we meet before? That means if we have met at all.” Edge asked after a few seconds, collecting his thoughts as best he could.

“Ah the big question. Where and when did we meet.” The councilor replied, folding his hands together, “An question which is easily answered on the one side and difficult to answer on the other.”

“How so? Just say it and the question is solved.” Rex asked curiously, watching the high councilor to get up and step in front of the window, “It seems you dance around the answer instead of answering it, like you said you would moments ago.”

“It's no real dance Rex.” The councilor laughed, “You and Edge know me quite well. The reason though needs some explaining and I'll recap a few things until Blake arrives. He should arrive any minute now. My team should return any minute now.”

He nodded towards a small bar next to his desk, while taking a glass of water himself. “It's a long story, so listen closely.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuvonlokviing, Jessica, Komyeta and Rob made their way towards the earth tower and downwards as they had arrived in it. The golden dragoness wasn't very talkative, until we had left the atrium and half of the hallway past us, but began shortly after to do so.

“You must be quite confused by now. To leave everything behind and being thrown around by fact which are the complete opposite to things you thought were right.” She started with an odd topic, “Things seemed to be so easy before they acted.”

“Yes. Quite.” I replied sighing, “The only thing I had to worry about was you. Or the condition of having lost my human body. Who would have guessed that things take an complete u turn. Or that the long enemy of the myths is actually doing the 'right' thing.”

“Couldn't you warn us back in the house?” Jessica asked a bit upset, “It would have made things a lot easier for us.”

“I was fighting with the thought.” Yuvon sighed, “Though the orders by the high council were clear and all they do is done out of necessity. Even the capturing of your families and the mind control of several myths.”

“And that is something I can't and won't support.” Jessica nagged, causing Yuvon's head to drop slightly in shame, “You play with a lot of peoples lives and that makes you not one bit better than the myths. I saw how some of your 'employees' work and some are quite devoted if I may say it this way.”

“And you have all right to do so.” Yuvon replied, “Everyone outside of the inner circle has no clue what is really going on and makes some things quite difficult to accomplish. Though it makes it easier to hide the truth. Those people tend to only see what they want to see and this is something we use. A few of them are nice people, but blinded by their deep devotion of the cause.”

“Sounds like you use the ignorance of your followers.” Komyeta noticed, “You're playing with fire and a lot of it too.”

“We are playing with fire since the six arrived on this planet two thousand one hundred years ago. And the high council was the only bastion we had for a long time.” Yuvon huffed, looking at us with an awestruck gaze, “The whole organization you see here, was build by them and kept the world safe since the foundation.”

“Two thousand years?” I yelped surprised, “I thought we dragon could only get five to six hundred years old.”

“That is both right and wrong.” Yuvon answered uncomfortable, “You must know. You and I are practically to different races of dragons. Your ancient friend here is nearer, but still far away from being one of us. The council breeds dragons for their own needs since they arrived here, with the soul purpose to have a world to rule. And they don't want to share it with anyone, the reason why you aren't been recognized as dragons by my race.”

“That's a bit narrow minded, isn't it?” Jessica asked, “We didn't know what it would turn us into. To say we are a minor dragon breed is quite insulting. Or what do you boys think?”

“Yes. I agree, though I see the reason behind it.” Komyeta said, noticing my nodding, “We are the product of those traitors and probably bred to be effective weapons.”

“That's a bit pessimistic Komyeta.” Jessica replied, “Maybe they only wanted us to have a short life.”

“He is right my dear.” Yuvon explained, shaking her head sadly, “You all are indoctrinated to follow their lead without question and the gift or the equivalent of other races makes it easy to get new soldiers. The only thing preventing them from starting a war is the technology of the humans. They are quite crafty and now to overcome obstacles. It still amazes me since I arrived on this world ten years ago. Technology to cross the continents in hours, or connect people all around the world without losing time. Weapons which are powerful enough to piece through the skin of us dragons. It is a huge barrier for the council and one they haven't overcome so far.”

“Lucky us.” I huffed, remembering the time of the arrival “You said those six arrived two thousand years ago. Could you give us a short rundown what happened until now? I know the council version, but I'm curious about the view of the other side.”

“Hm.” Yuvon replied, “I'll better start from the beginning as it takes some explaining to get the whole story. This planet had no myth before we arrived with our explorer team. The planet was marked as habitable by our seers and those teams should search of it was already inhabited by a native life form. Which it was naturally, else we wouldn't have the problem we have now. Or teams returned one after another and the debates about research started shortly after. Debates which went on for nearly three hundred years.”

“Jeeze and I thought our politicians were slow to get a decision done.” Jessica huffed amused, earning a glare from Yuvon.

“We are a race, which has time to debate such things.” She replied annoyed, “And we decided to study you humans as we had so much other races. Though we were surprised about the jump of technology you managed in the time we were discussing. Other races normally need a while until they reached the level of knowledge you do. That got the interest of our six traitors. Those six were among our research teams and known to do questionable things from time to time. We dragons are respectfully under each other and this let to a kind of naive and blind trust between each other. This kept us from seeing what they were planning until it was to late. The portal we use to travel leads past a singularity and is dangerous to use if it isn't stable. Those six were the first to cross the portal aside from the lone team which had stayed there and did sent the reports over the human development. The six destabilized the portal as soon as they had passed it and pushed the tunnel behind the horizon, killing the next twenty dragons who went through the portal. Their plan had worked and we were in complete confusion. Non of us realized what had happened. Not until our explorer team found a way to connect our worlds again ten years ago.”

“Why so long? Couldn't your people open a new one?” Komyeta asked curiously but shocked.

“Sadly no. This kind of portal has two fixed entry points. Only the tunnel in between is changeable and the traitors manipulated it so we couldn't change it from our side.” Yuvon answered, “We tried it over the next five hundred years before we gave up and were naturally quite surprised as our explorer team stepped through it. Well two of them. The third member is still captured by the six and one, if not the most value, treasure they have.”

“And those two are in charge of this organization?” I asked curiously.

“Yes. One should talk with your two friends at the moment, while the other is working to get a team out of the dragon cave.” Yuvon replied, “And they were. Both decided that it would be fairer, if the other races took the decisions in their own hands and cleared the field, though kept some power for important decisions. They earned respect for this step among the races and it eased the initial tension as the ambassadors of the other home worlds arrived.”

“An honorable and wise decision.” Komyeta nodded, “Is there any chance we can meet them sometimes?”

“You will eventually.” Yuvon answered after a few moments, “But we have to attend to the real draconic council first. The conflict on this world is to important for them to ignore and you three are our closest link to the six traitors.”

“I thought we were looked upon as minor dragons?” Jessica asked confused.

“That may be. But your words still bear a heavy weight and needs to be considered.” Yuvon replied, while we arrived in a larger room at one of the lower floors of the tower, “So does your future and the future of your world.”

“Shouldn't the council do that. We are only three dragons and hardly in the position to change anything.” I gulped, not so enthused about the idea of having such a large burden on my shoulders.

“We'll see about this. Now if you would excuse me for a second. I need to activate the portal.” Yuvon said and just stared into the air, becoming silent once again.

The memory of the first time we past such portal returned to me and I gulped silently. The beauty of the light wasn't something you could deny easily, but the thought about what would happen if you slide a few meters into any direction wasn't either. Yuvonlokviing though didn't seem to have so much problems with it, causing me to suspect that she had done it a lot more often.

She still was deeply concentrated and focused on the point in the air, which began to slowly fall into itself and allowed a small black point to grow until it took in almost the whole height and width of the room. It had the same strange optical illusion the first had and the black emptiness in the middle wasn't convincing either. We three stepped back a bit in fear of the unknown while Yuvon finished her silent chant, which went by unnoticed until now.

“Don't worry. Those are safer than they look.” Yuvon snickered slightly upon seeing our faces, “And necessary as our worlds lay to far away from each other for normal portals. There is a longer route but it's exhausting and would take us month to travel along.”

“That's easy for you to say.” Jessica said, “You do it more often I presume.”

“I still don't get why you two are so afraid of a small ring of light.” Komyeta added irritated, “It's nice to look at.”

“You don't wanna know right now. Trust me.” I replied sighing, “Just let it get over. I don't like the thought of being so close to one of the must destructive forces in the universe.”

“Shall we? The council is waiting.” Yuvon asked, stepping aside to allow us to pass, “Your future is awaiting you.”

With that we took one last breath and stepped into the darkness, allowing the portal to guide us to where ever it let. The ring was a lot smaller this time and way brighter. Stars had been visible last time and maybe one or two nebular. This time it was only a bright white, passively showing how near the horizon must be this time.

The only thing which was the same was the time the travel through it took and the sudden end of the trip. This time though it didn't end in a dark warehouse, but on an open field. A field which went into every direction as far as the eye could see, with tree groups here and there. Those trees were the first indicator which proofed that we indeed were on another world. Dark red leaves of incredible density covered the upper tree and movement on the surface gave it a surreal look. The fact that it just had eaten a bird was another. The second clear indicator were the three suns above us and the three planets which were between us and the suns.

“Ah finally home.” Yuvon said pleased, taking in deep breaths, “How I missed the light of the three sisters.”

“Three sisters? You mean your suns, don't you?” I asked curiously, examining those three carefully.

“Yes. Sirona, Tiloa and Jilla. The beacon for us dragons while traveling and barrier against intruders. They emit a radiation against portals and other means of transportation aside from star ships.” Yuvon explained, “Though it works both ways. Our only escape of this planet are the singularity portals and they are quite dangerous to produce. One false chant and gravity rips this system apart.”

“And this chants are known to everyone?” Komyeta asked interested.

“Yes and no. The chants needed to open established portals is known to everyone, only those needed to create one are locked away and only allowed for the elders.” Yuvon answered, “Those who want to talk to you the moment we arrive on this world.”

“Then lets go.” I replied, while stopping to examine the grass beneath out paws, “I may not want to know what we got ourselves into, but it's probably the best if we don't stall that much.”

“A good thought.” Komyeta nodded, looking to Yuvon, “You may lead us to where your council is located.”

“I will. Please follow me.” She replied, jumping upwards and started to fly towards the mountains which started to appear after reaching a bit of height.

The way to them though took some time and allowed us to examine the new world and its wonders. It was filled with life as far as we could tell and most of it was ground based, only a few birds were flying here or there and those who flew kept a respectful distance to the red trees. Animals that looked like a mix of cow and fox ran over the fields in larger flocks, resting here and there. Other animals hunted those or were being hunted themselves by larger predators. Not one reached our size though and I was somehow glad about it.

This continued for a long time and the sky slowly filled with dragons of all colors, but non who was as large as Komyeta or I. The smallest one was as large as Yuvon, while the largest one we saw was equal in size to a smaller two story building. We slowly became the point of interest too and not in a good way to say it. Several taunts and insults were thrown around, while a few even tried to hunt us down but were stopped by Yuvon and the mentioning of the council.

This continued until we arrived at the mountains and the huge numbers of caves that were in them. The whole side of them were littered with all sizes of them and only a few spots around a very large cave were empty of them. Those large cave was our target as Yuvon took aim for it and mentioned us to follow her into it. The size was astonishing and grew more and more, the closer we came. It easily could take two dozen of our larger dragons and would still have place for a few more. Though four enormous dragons had the place already taken, leaving only place for us four in front of a pool filled with water. Those four dwarfed each of us and looking up to them wasn't very comfortable either after a while, but they emitted the authority I had guessed they would have.

“Elders.” Yuvon said respectful and bowed in front of them, which we also did a second later, “I bring the three you wished to see.”

“Thank you for your support Yuvonlokviing. Rest for now and wait for our call.” The black elder replied, while nodding towards her.

“As you wish.” Yuvon answered and flew upwards to a small cave in the roof where she laid down and watched us interested.

“Welcome to this world humans. I hope your travel wasn't this exhausting.” The red elder snarled, trying to hide some disgust in his voice.

“Not to much. Thanks for the question” I replied respectfully.

“Good to hear. At least someone with manners.” The bronze elder huffed amused, while slapping the red one with his wing, “But we sadly have not much time to exchange the way I would like. We were informed about current state of the conflict on your world and can't loose to much time discussing meaningless things. At least for now. Ahkrindrogin you have prepared the ritual?”

“As we have discussed it.” The black elder replied thoughtfully, “Though I'm still thinking that it would be false to not tell them.”

“And we will.” The silver elder said, “As much as they need to know. You know the rule which was written for exactly this case.”

“Yes I know. But it still allows us to tell them a few things.” Ahkrindrogin replied, causing the silver elder to huff annoyed, “At least some basics.”

“You blacks and your talent to bend the rules.” The red elder laughed a bit, “Go one tell them what you think they need to know, but remember what they don't need.”

“I will.” He replied, examining us closely and almost blew Jessica away while breathing, “Ah good you still have your keys. It took us some while to send them to you and even longer to make those. A marvelous feat of craftsmanship, storing chants in crystals. But I'm losing the threat again. You three are chosen to receive a special kind of gift of our race.”

“A gift?” Jessica replied surprised, while the red elder huffed in disgust again.

“Yes a gift my dear girl.” Ahkrindrogin explained, “You must know that we'll equip you with a lot of scrolls and tomes after we finish the ritual and send you three back to earth. A plan lies in motion which need you to bring those things with you and it is of up most importance that you keep them with you all the time. Never give one away with exception of one of you three and study them as good as you can. Memorize the things in it and perfect them, everyone of you. Then destroy them.”

“But why? Knowledge shouldn't be destroyed!” Komyeta objected, hating the thought of denying knowledge to others.

“You'll understand in due time. It will save your lives sometimes and those of a lot of people.” Ahkrindrogin replied calmly, “And don't loose sight of your target. That is all I'm allowed to say. I hope it will help you sometimes.”

“I don't get it.” I whispered to Jessica, who herself looked a bit lost.

“You'll 'get' it when the times is right.” The red elder said, having heard our whispering, “ Ahkrindrogin. The ritual.”

“Yes. It's time.” Ahkrindrogin sighed and let out one loud roar, which seamed to shatter the rocks around us, “The time of ascension begins now. Origato coi tlush!”

All the cracks in the rocks seemed to glow all of a sudden, sending waves of weak light downwards to the pool. The whole scenery changed from normal to really messed up in seconds as the whole world around us faded and shrunk together until only we and Ahkrindrogin remained. The weak light had completely blocked everything else and caused the pool to glow in a strange mix of warm colors. Ahkrindrogin too was surrounded by the strange light, enhancing his aura and appearance significantly.

“Now step into the water and receive what is rightfully yours.” He commanded, causing the light to pulse with every word he said.

“What will happen?” I asked as we stepped to the side of the pool, which was large and deep enough for me to drown in it, “I'm not the kind of dragon who floats on water.”

“Jessica and Komyeta step back.” Ahkrindrogin commanded to which both followed order, much to their own surprise, “You might be spared to join under the command of the traitor council, but your indoctrination still exists. We blocked it from happening, but you're under my control for now.”

“What?” We all screamed in surprise and fear.

“Rob. Step forwards!” He ordered and my body followed against my own commands, leaving me at the edge of the pool and its seemingly endless pulsating pit, “Now. Jump.”

“No!” Jessica screamed, locked in place where she stood, as my body jumped into it.

And I sunk, like Marko had told me on top of the tower. The surface drifted away slow at first and then faster and faster, causing the light to grow darker with every meter I sunk. The remaining breath was quickly used and the world slowed down significantly. Until it went dark.

'Funny. I imagined it worse.' I thought, with each word slower than the one before. The last word didn't even finish before my consciousness was pulled away into the soft embrace of nothingness.

Which looked surprisingly like a tropical beach, with a small cocktail booth near a palm. The booth was manned by a golden half dragon, who looked a lot like myself aside from the color difference. I too was in my half dragon form and quite surprised by all that had just happened.

“It's funny isn't it?” The half dragon said amused, “Welcome in my own small world and my small place in your brain. It's been a while.”

“Who are you?” I asked stumbling towards the booth and the dragon.

“A dragon for about a month and he already forgot who he has to thank for it. I'm disappointed.” The dragon chuckled, while drinking his cocktail, “I was a bit larger last time and I think the second one who rammed his claw into your body, though you might remember me with another scale color. Left you with legs, wings and a tail if I remember correctly.”

“You are the dragon I saw and tried to evade.” I realized, causing him to look amused again.

“So you do remember. But only as shade, don't you?” He said, making me nod again, “It's sad. A gift shouldn't be twisted this way and I'm wondering how many others try to talk to their hosts. Probably not that many, the barrier is almost impossible to overcome without help. But you are here and that is a good sight, got a bit lonely over the time.”

“Well you found a nice beach, didn't you?” I replied and took the second glass on the booth.

“You have visited a few nice places and why not. Better than doing nothing on some sofa or bed.” He snickered again, “Anyways. You'll probably wonder why you are here. Am I right?”

“Quite yes.” I answered, taking a sip myself.

“Your blood was tainted and still is with every other dragon on earth. Not much we can do about that sadly, the dragons on this planet are to greedy to share the ritual with your kind or the other myths.” He explained, “A real shame. You could accomplish quite some feats together, but that shall not happen. At least in the next time. The ritual they are doing, cleaned your taint and restores your body to what it should be, including the pros and cons it has. It even unlocks the magical abilities you saw on the way towards here, including the generation of portals.”

“But why would they do it.” I asked, being thoughtfully about the situation, “You said they are greedy and wouldn't share. Why should they do it with us three?”

“That is the question. And the answer lays out there somewhere. As does your body by the way.” The dragon sighed, while leaning against the booth next to me, “A shame that this conversations are so short, but better than nothing. The barrier is broken and with it your limitations regarding the breed of your kind.”

“And now?” I questioned, looking towards him, “What will happen now?”

“Who knows. They'll send you back to earth after Jessica and Komyeta are done with their rituals.” He sighed again, “Which leaves me only one thing to do until you disappear again.”

“And that would be?” I replied curiously.

“Giving you a name of course. What is Rob for a name for a dragon anyways?” He laughed, causing me to laugh too, “And I happen to have found one a short while ago. In your funny little dream to be honest.”

“And which name would that be?” I said curiously, trying to remember what happened in that dream.

“Vokunkronah. You'll get its meaning eventually.” He said, holding his glass towards me, “Or do you have a better idea?”

“Vokunkronah? Vokunkronah. Hm.” I said to myself, letting the name go over my tongue a few times.

“And?” The dragon smiled, continuing to hold his glass towards me.

“I like it.” I replied, raising glasses with him.

“I know you would.” He laughed and finally emptied his glass and the dream faded away, “Until next time Vokunkronah.”

I opened my eye instantaneously, taking a deep breath after remembering my loose of air as I sunk down the pool. Where I still was. But something was different, something I couldn't put my claw on at the moment and my thoughts raced from one end of my brain to the other and back again. I was a dragon. Under water. Not dying. Where was the connection? What part of it didn't fit? I took another breath. What didn't fit in this equation? Water. Dragon. Breath. Some hair from my chin floated past my right eye, causing me to switch my attention towards it.

'Where does that come from?' I thought irritated, watching it stay around there for some moments.

'Get your lazy ass out of this pool Vokun.' A known voice yelled in my head, 'You can play with it later.'

'But I'm done for. A dragon can't swim.” I said somewhat depressed.

'He can't breath under water either.” The voice replied amused, causing my thought to suddenly catch up with reality.

Breath. I was breathing the whole time since I woke up and didn't even realize it, nor did I realize how bright everything was despite it being quite dark as I had sunken down here. A quick check over showed a few noticeable differences to before I hit the water. Golden veins ran through my wing membrane and my scales had this weird mixture of gold and black. Even a new pair of horns had grown out of the back of my head, but the most noticeable change was definitely the beard. It's hair was swimming all around me and still kept distracting me. A slight push catapulted me off the ground and towards the surface, on which I arrived without much effort and landed in front of a very shaken Jessica and a stunned Komyeta. I even grew a bit, surpassing Komyeta by a few centimeters.

“A new life begins.” Ahkrindrogin stated with honor in his voice, “And two more wait for it.”

“Are you ok Rob?” Jessica sobbed, still locked in place, “I thought you drowned.”

“I'm fine Jess. Don't worry.” I replied, caring for her pain, “It's not that bad down there and I didn't loose anything.”

“That is quite amazing if I may say so.” Komyeta said, looking at me interested, “What happened down there?”

“Ground.” I snickered, causing him to huff, “No seriously there is nothing in it except for water.”

“Now Komyeta. It's your turn.” Ahkrindrogin interrupted, forcing Komyeta to jump into the pool himself, “Time grows short.”

We watched Komyeta struggle as he submerged, snapping for air before he dropped beneath the surface of the pool. It didn't take long for him to reemerge himself, maybe five or six minutes later. He himself hadn't changed to all and featured the same thing he had before, but had grown to the height I had at the moment.

“That surely was interesting.” He muttered amazed, “I never knew.”

“And a second dragon has passed the barrier.” Ahkrindrogin stated again, looking to a deeply afraid Jessica, “Now my dear it's your turn.”

“No. Please no.” She said, while her body walked towards the pool and jumped into, after she throw a begging look at me.

“Don't worry Rob.” Ahkrindrogin said, “She will be fine, though her change may be a bit larger than yours.”

“How comes it?” I asked, while Komyeta looked down the pool.

“The magic only know dragons, no half dragons.” Ahkrindrogin explained, “So it will change her the way it seems fitting. In her case one of us. It's complicated to describe as magic isn't something you could write down as equations. It has its own will and isn't bending the rules for anyone.”

“And that means Jessica will be a quadruped dragon like Rob and me, isn't is so?” Komyeta asked, recapping what Ahkrindrogin just said, “Will be interesting to see how she looks like as one.”

We hadn't to wait for long, as the water of the pool was rising and was followed by a larger webbed forepaw. Which itself was only the beginning of Jessica's rise. She fully emerged moments later, pulling herself out of the water and tried to stand upright as she was used it, but failed eventually. She was only a bit smaller than Komyeta and I, while being slimmer than we both. She had the same horn count as I and everyone of those was curved as it was common by dragonesses. Another thing was the mix of silver and bronze colors in her scales, which looked quite amazing. Her wing membrane featured the same veins I had, only in silver this time and her membrane went down all they way to her tail tip, probably making it quite a nice look should she fly.

“What happened?” She said, shacking her head slightly, “Why can't I stand up?”

“Because you are a dragon now and those tend to walk on all four.” Ahkrindrogin snickered warmly, waving his paw, “Welcome in your new life.”

“Dragon? As in full dragon?” She said startled, while looking towards Komyeta and me and seemingly noticed how large she was now, “Wow.”

“See you survived it.” I said, nudging her gently while the world returned, “And you still look great.”

“Urgs. Search for a cave you two.” The red elder said, seeing us both, “People are around here.”

“Ah shut up.” Ahkrindrogin laughed, “You were exactly the same way, back when you met your mate.”

“Can we please return to the important points?” The silver elder said annoyed, “The window of opportunity is closing and we need them back on earth as fast as possible.”

“You are right. Excuse me.” Ahkrindrogin nodded and looked towards us again, “I'll sent for  Yuvonlokviing. She will bring the tomes and scrolls. Three will include a dictionary to translate our language, though I would give you the advice to learn it rather than translating word by word. It'll make the whole process easier.”

“When will we leave?” Komyeta asked, while is eyes were glowing in excitement about now knowledge.

“As soon as Yuvonlokviing returns. Time is short and we need to use it like the rules dictate. Rules which were written down over two thousand five hundred years ago.” Ahkrindrogin said, calling for Yuvon, “Time is of the essence and your destiny isn't waiting.”

He was interrupted by Yuvonlokviing's landing, who set down three saddlebags full of scrolls and tomes as soon as she had stopped. The elders were quick to load the bags onto our backs and even quicker to guide us deeper into the cave, revealing a vast network of tunnels beneath it. Those tunnels eventually let into a larger room, which was filled by a larger rune circle. This rune circle was modified with a lot smaller ones and began to glow as our group entered the room.

“Here it is. The heaviest modified portal on this planet and only recently painted.” Ahkrindrogin explained to us, “The runes are among our biggest secrets and will sent you exactly where you need to be.”

“And where on earth is it?” Komyeta asked, while Jessica still tried to get used to the bags.

“A safe place.” Ahkrindrogin replied, chanting a short while afterwards, “A place safe from the council and its lackeys.”

A black circle opened itself again, this time though it began to rotate as it was finished and gave it an even stranger look than the locked ones ever had.

“Now go. It won't stay open for long and you need all the time you get.” The silver dragoness said in a hurry, “Don't forget to learn what we gave you.”

“We won't.” Komyeta nodded and walked through the portal after looking towards us and Jessica followed moments later.

“Thanks for the chance.” I said and nodded towards the elders, while stepping into the portal.

“You'll need it Vokunkronah. We'll wait for your return.” Ahkrindrogin said at the same moment as I walked through the portal.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“This was two thousand five hundred years ago and we used the time.” I said, looking to Rex, Edge and Blake who had arrived a while ago, “It took us almost two weeks to realize what the elders had done to us and we were furious about it.”

“Understandable.” Blake replied, shifting around in his seat, “Though I still don't get why you allowed them to take lead your organization.”

“Because of their agenda.” I answered after a few seconds, while looking out of the window, “They have their targets. I have mine. And those aren't the same if you know what I mean. Staying in the council would have denied me precious resources I can get as high councilor, while granting me enough room to do what must be done in this case.”

“And that would be?” Edge asked curiously.

“The end of the world as we know it.” I replied grinning and looked to Komyeta, in his human form, who had Finley with him.
*reworked a few lines* And there it is. The real part five and the final revealing of the high councilors identity. I wanted to use the idea of 'A long journey' for a long time and finally got to the part i can put it in. Followed by a shocking part of those two ;)

heh, 31 messages, no time for insane reading, sorry. Byt pretty good from what I skimmed off of it.
